Disney World part 3

On the couple of days in between theme parks, we made sure to get out and experience Florida.  One morning Devan and I went on an airboat ride on East Lake Tohopekaliga.  It was really weird to have no concern for how shallow the water was or the fact that we rode right over so many reeds without worrying about the boat getting stuck.  We got to see 2 alligators out on the lake which was REALLY cool.  That night we went mini golfing with everyone...not really "typical Florida", but definitely typical Orlando/Kissimmee.  There were mini golf places everywhere!  Pirate's Cove was a really fun course and guess what...I won!  Another of the mornings we decided to have breakfast at the southern classic Waffle House. Talk about delicious waffles!  On our last day in Florida we rented some bikes and rode around the town Celebration, which was supposedly built by Disney, but is now a fully functional adorable little town.  We even saw a little alligator in one of the many random ponds we rode by.  I haven't ridden a bike for probably years, so that was really fun...Devan was having mission flashbacks with the humidity and bike riding, but he did admit he had much more fun than he thought he would.  BEST TRIP EVER!!

And just for good measure...while we were gone we sure did miss this cutie!  (Had to include a picture of her...we all know that is why anyone looks at this blog :) )
