Day 1: Horrific drive to a lighthouse that was supposedly 40 min away (more like 2.5 hrs), another gut twisting drive down PCH, (absolutely gorgeous but we were all about to lose our lunches after that figure 8 of a road), some AMAZING red wood trees, a drive over the Golden Gate, and dinner on The Pier.

...The San Francisco Treat!
In June we got to go to the amazing city of San Fran. Neither Dev or I had ever been there, and I have been wanting to take a trip since we got married. And thanks to our wonderful friends James and Michelle, we finally got to. Turns out Michelle's parents live 45 min out of the city so it was even an awesomely cheap trip which is always a bonus. Plus of course we had James and Michelle with us which always lead to awesome times. I am going to attempt to let the pictures do most of the talking for me, otherwise this might be a never-ending post.

Day 2: Scenic pictures, the Exploratorium, we were supposed to go to Alcatraz, but tickets sold out, some frisbee in the park, and a delicious midnight snack thanks to Michelle's dad.

Day 3: Oakland Zoo, Oakland Temple, Planetarium, and a REALLY ghetto ice cream shop in which a drug deal took place outside while we were enjoying a treats. We are talking ghetto Oakland here people.

Day 4: BBQ at Michelle's brother's house who lives on a flooded river. This was one of the best days of the trip. This "lake" was literally right out their backyard! Devan was singing Frank Sinatra to me while paddling around...he only knew one line though.
The drive home was wonderfully uneventful and thank you so much to James and Michelle for the use of their car and their family's hospitality. This was one for the books!
