Bruce is Home!!!

Bruce is back in the states...and we are so excited!!! Devan's best friend Kyle, or Bruce as he is better known, got back last month from his mission in Hiroshima, Japan. Words can not even begin to describe how excited Devan was, and has been for the last few months leading up to this. Despite alot of grief from family and friends, Bruce pushed through and decided that he needed to serve a mission. I met him while Dev and I were dating, which was right when this decision was taking place. We are so proud of him and can't believe that it has already been two years and that he is home! Of course, now that he is home, he spends alot of time at our house, which we are perfectly happy about, and is getting back into real life. He adjusted super quick in my opinion. He already started school again and is going to UNLV with me. We are taking an institute class together which I will have to write a separate blog about because it is amazing! Before his mission, Dev, Bruce, and I were really close and spent alot of time together, and now it seems like he never even left. Things are back to normal...except now Dev and I are married so its way better :) Devan refers to Bruce as his son alot of the time because of the role that he played in Bruce's life prior to his mission, so it is funny now to hear him talk about how excited he is to see Bruce date and eventually get married. He sounds just like a proud father :) Although, I'm sure Bruce will be such an example to us now after hearing his homecoming talk and having multiple spiritual discussions with him. We are hoping that he will be moving into our spare bedroom shortly, because we live so much closer to his work and school. Plus, we can't have returned missionaries who are trying to get married live with their moms:) ... and he has not made any money for two years, so we figured we would give him a hand. Devan is giddy like a little five year old who is going to have his friend come over and play when he and Bruce talk about him moving in with us. All in all, Bruce is amazing and we are super blessed to have him as a friend. Also, if anyone knows any single amazing girls here in Vegas, let us know! He is available! :)
